Never used a ghostwriter before? No problem! Below is an outline of the work process you can expect when you hire me for your project.
Stage 1: Lets discuss your ideas.
If you wish to begin your writing project, the first step is to get in touch. Send me an email using this contact form. Explain your book idea to me in a few sentences, and I will reply with 24 hours.
It doesn’t matter what stage your book is at. You may have a full plan, a few chapters completed, or you just have the beginnings of an idea. In any case, I’m happy to talk to you about your project, and provide a consultation free of charge.
Stage 2: Let’s start outlining
Once we’ve discussed your project, the next step is for me to provide a professional outline. This can be completed for a flat fee of $100 (or £80). Your outline will be professional formatted, and will include:
A chapter by chapter breakdown of your book.
Some initial research into the customer base for your book, and an overview of how I plan to write directly to your intended audience.
For non-fiction projects, I will outline the research papers and sources I intend to use to inform my writing.
For fiction projects, your outline will include a story structure. This will be designed to maximize suspense and reader engagement.
I can complete a detailed outline for you, with no commitment for me to carry on with the rest of the book. You could go away and write the book yourself, using the outline as a starting point.
I will also make as many edits and alterations as you need until you are fully satisfied, with no additional charges.
Stage 3: Let me write it for you.
As soon as you’re happy, we will work together to set a realistic deadline for the completion of your book. I can comfortably work at a rate of 10,000 words per week. This means that a standard, 80,000 word novel can be completed for you within two months*.
I have never failed to complete a book within a stated deadline. If I do, then you will be entitled to refunds and free edits (the details of this will be outlined in your contract, created at the point of hiring).
*Actual deadlines may vary depending on writer’s availability and schedule. This will be discussed with you thoroughly at the point of purchase.
Stage 4: Editing and Finalizing
All of my writing services include full, professional editing are included as part of the rates that I charge. During editing I will ensure that grammar and punctuation are perfect, that sentences are refined for economy of words, and that the structure of the book flows beautifully.
During this stage, you will have the right to claim up to three major edits, including partial re-writes.
The final text will be presented to you as a finished document, carefully formatted to include chapters, a contents page, and any appendices you wish to add. For non-fiction books, a full reference list will also be provided (this will not count towards your paid-for word count).
Written by me, owned by you.
And that’s all! Your final book will be provided to you in both PDF and Word document formats. Your final product will be sent to you digitally, and you will retain all creative rights to the finished book.
If you have any further questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will reply to you within 24 hours.
